My wife gifted me with 4th GoPro camera last Christmas...this time the HERO7 Black edition.
I have lately purchased Karma drone from from GoPro as well and some other accessories together with the GoPro silicone case to avoid mechanical damage...
Unfortunately, when I was removing GoPro camera from that tight silicon protective case to remove SD card (at home) the camera slipped from my hands and fall down on our wooden coffee table, from approx. 40-50cm high. When I switched that camera on I have noticed that the inner display (not the glass outside) had cracked from left top corner corner 😰...not really a big hit...I had bigger accidents with Hero3 during my scuba diving boat trips!
Is this normal with HERO7? I would honestly expecting the new product to be more rigid and mechanical damage resistant.I would be now afraid using the HERO7 for my bicycle rides ior snowboarding etc. for which the GoPro is actually made for??
Is there any way to get GoPro support, please?
Photo of the damage can be send upon request.
