Hero 7 Black: Hypersmooth not smooth at all! [ New ]

Hi...
Just tested my new 7 Black today on the Motorcycle and on a FPV Mini Quad.

The Mount I am using on the Motorcycle gives me vibration free Video withm my Session 5 and Stabilzation on.
With Hypersmooth video is pretty smooth, but when cornering on nice mountain roads there is a weird "robotic" effect moving the image in directions you wouldnt expect.
Same flying the Quad, I am not flying aggressive just cruising around and making smooth turns and I get these glitches during turns.

Recording in 2.7k with 60fps in Wide or Superview.

Also it would be nice to have normal Stabilization as an option in all Resolutions when Hypersmooth is not getting good results like here!

Will try to upload some short snips from the videos to Youtube to show the effect.

Any way to correct this with stabilization on?

Have a closer look on a bigger screen with highest resolution.
The turns should be smooth but there are some „steps“ in there which make it ugly to watch on bigger screens

Same for me with a FPV quad : smooth but with many steps.

And on another quad, sometimes smooth at the beginning of the video and tottaly jerky after a few times.

This calls for a Software Update. Something in the Hypersmooth is not optimized. Especially when it also happens on a motorcycle with an optimum mounting system.
Freestyle FPV flying might be another thing but cruising around on a longrange setup must be possible.
After all this is an action cam, so it must handle at least some „action“....

At least gopro should give us the choice between "hypersmooth" and "standard stabilisation" because hypersmooth for tracking shot is not good at all!

Diesen Fehler habe ich auch schon festgestellt. Er tritt auf, wenn ein langer Kameraschwenk ausgeführt wird. Oder wenn eine lange Kurve gefahren/geflogen wird. Hier versucht die Kamera diese Bewegung auszugleichen. Irgendwann stößt das Verschieben des Bildes auf dem Sensor an die Grenze und es ruckt im Bild. Ein Update könnte Schwenks erkennen und so die Stabilisierung entsprechend verändern, dass keine Ruckler im Bild zu sehen sind.

Gerade mit der Hypersmooth Stabilisierung neigt man ja dazu, Schwenks aus freier Hand aufzunehmen. Diese gelingen bis auf die Ruckler auch gut. Hoffentlich wird das in einem nächsten Update verbessert. Habe selber festgestellt, dass bei einem langsamen Schwenk um mehr als 90 Grad ein Bildruckeln auftreten kann.
