Hero 6 can't view 1080p videos in app

My app can't view videos and photos in my Hero 6 even if they were shot in 1080p 24fps. I tried reseting connections many times but it still won't show up on the app. Is this a bug from the recent update?
I can still record using the app, but the new videos don't appear when I try to view them.

That is odd that they are not showing up in the App. Do you have any screenshots of what you are seeing? Are you getting any errors? Are you able to view that content on a computer?
You may try uninstalling and reinstalling the App. Also make sure you are using a recommend SD Card:

I know. It's weird. I've had the Hero 6 for about 2 months, it used to work fine. The videos on the SD card are fine, I can view them on the GoPro and I can transfer them to my PC. They just won't show up on the app.
I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the app as you suggested.
BTW I'm using a Sandisk Extreme 128GB v30 microSD card.

I tried reinstalling the app. Same problem. It still shows me the notification screen "no videos yet".
Any other suggestions? I'm using a Samsung s8 plus, btw.
