@jay-ell wrote:OK, so this C-mount also takes the M12 original lens yes?
When you put the original lens that came out the Hero 6 into the mount what are the colours like?
When you put the other Cine lenses on what are the colours like?
Do you have a photo/video showing the problems you describe?
Have you tried changing the colour to flat or the white balance to native to see if these make any difference? Try them one at a time if you haven't.
Hi , See the samples with 2 lenses,
The sample shots are done with Auto White Balance, 1) gopro Lens, 2) Cine Zeiss Lens
when changing to FLAT , there was a Change in Color, would go FLAT, for both Lenses
Will the IR Filter Bring the Cine Zoom Lens to Normal ?

Re: Hero 6 Black
[ New ]The gopro lens has an IR cut filter attached to the back of it (should look like a circle of glass with a slight coloured sheen to it) this blocks out the IR light from the sensor.
Without it the sensor gets flooded with Infra Red and the colours are totally unnatural.
The Backbone Ribcage should have come with a filter that can either be installed permenantly or so that it can be removed depening on how another part is installed (at least the original Hero 4 version did).
Withou this IR cut filter any other lens you put onto the camera will either have to have it's own built in IR cut filter or they will let the IR through to the sensor. Judging by the secopnd zoomed in image which I'm presuming comes from the cinema lens that lens doesn't have an it cut filter and so the Infra red is flooding the sensor and showing up as a bright red scene.
To get back to normal colours you need to install the IR cut filter - make sure its IR cut/IR block and not IR pass. The filter should be the large round bit of glass that came with the kit. Check the instructions on dismantling your Ribcage and installing the filter.
You might still get some descrepencies in the colour between the gopro lens and the cine lens - this is because the Gopro will have it's colour profile tuned to the lens that they use. Other lenses might cause colour shifts because of the glas used, layout of the optics, etc however this can be corrected in post using your editors colour correction and white balance functions.

Thank you very much jay, please tell where can I get the IR cut/ block filter to get, and can I put in in front of the Lens in the Matt box trey or it has to be at the back end of the lens ?
at the back end
