Hero 5 session, froze & wont turn on

I took my GoPro out yesterday and first off it overheated and the battery was drained. Then later in the day I got it back up and working. I used it in the water, not deep at all and ever since then I can’t get it back turned on or have any feedback from it. I’m on vacation right now so it’s really putting a damper on my trip

It can be frustrating to have this kind of problem during a vacation. Mostly, this issue arises when the Sd Card used in the camera is not one of the recommended. You can find the list of the recommended Sd Card on this link:

You can also try manually updating the software of the camera. All of the necessary troubleshooting for this issue is found in this link:

Thank you.
Unfortunately I do have the proper SD card and my GoPro as far as I know is up to date. That’s why I’m having problems on where to go from here
