Hero 5 black will not supporting in my laptop

when i try to connect gopro 5 black in my laptop its show USB connected for about 3sec then it desapare and just turn on.

@foggyvista7065 - For your computer to recognize and download content from your camera, you need to use the Quik for Desktop software - https://shop.gopro.com/softwareandapp/quik-%7C-desktop/Quik-Desktop.html.

 

Once it's installed, it can be set to recognize your camera and walk you through downloading the content.

Hello,

 

As @jefft said, you need to connect over the desktop Quik app. From there, you can press a button that downloads your media into a certain location as MP4 files.

 

You need to turn on the camera in order for it to be recognized.

I just realized that mine isn't working either, I was finally able to get Quik installed. It would force close automatically everytime I would try to open the app.
