@fastcave3341, sorry to hear about the trouble. Several factors can cause such issues in the camera. What's the SD card currently in use? What was the last activity you used the camera with before you noticed the problem?
Try to remove the SD card and battery from the camera. Then reinsert the battery back. Press the Mode Button to see if the camera responds (look for LED illumination, beeps, or a response from the camera’s screens).
If there's no response, attempt to reset the camera by pressing and holding the Mode Button for 8-10 seconds. After releasing the button, leave the camera alone for ≈5 seconds and attempt to get a response from the camera by pressing the Mode Button.
If still unable to get any sign of life from the camera, connect to a 5V 2A wall charger (5V 1A minimum) using the GoPro USB Type-C cable. If/when red LEDs illuminate, allow the camera to remain charging for a few minutes.
Lastly, remove the camera from the charging source and attempt to get a response from the camera by pressing the Mode Button.
Let me know how it goes.
I have done all of this...no improvement...
I still couldn't get it to do anything so I decided to buy a new battery. As soon as I got the new battery in there it immediately started charging. The battery says 100% but I also see the message "low battery" appear. I can't get the camera to do anything. It will randomly turn on but there is sometimes a completely white screen and some times there are pink lines running through the screen ... I have maybe used my go pro 5-10 times...this shouldn't be happening :(
