Took my Hero 5 Black underwater in Hawaii (salt water + less than 10m deep) and afterwards I noticed that my Gopro stopped working properly and became very glitchy. Eventually it wouldn't even turn on; I tried drying and switching to a new battery, but still didn't turn on. After my trip I left the battery door open to dry for a week. I tried it again with the same battery that was submerged during the incident and NOW it go works!!
1) The battery connection in the GoPro & battery has this white/blueish crust on it; if that salt water or some battery/eletrical discharge?
2) Is it SAFE for me to use it?
3) Can I just clean the connection points with a Q-tip & Water?
