I have had my Hero 5 for a few months and up until today it has worked fine.
As of this morning I get the now infamous "Wifi Not Ready Try Again Later" error message.
I have tried factory reseting the device 8 times to no avail.
I reinstalled the GoPro App...made no difference.
I have the latest version (2.6) installled.
As I asked earlier...is there a REAL fix for this problem?

Please make sure that you have the latest version of GoPro App on your phone, and that your phone is updated to the latest OS, and the camera to the latest firmware. Then, try the following steps to fix:
- Delete the Bluetooth ID from your device settings
- Remove the camera from the menu in the GoPro App
- Forget the Wi-Fi on your mobile device
- Reset the Wi-Fi on our camera

I had tried the recommended fix a number of times to no avail.
I tried multiple factory resets...no change.
I searched multiple websites and YouTube videos promising a solution (and a few added hair restoration products as an extra bonus). None of them worked for me.
I tried burnt offerings.
Finally...I tried this.
I installed the previous firmware version onto my Hero 5. Checked the Wifi set-up and GoPro app...and all was good.
I reinstalled the latest firmware version...and all was good with the WiFi set up and GoPro App functionality.
My Hero 5 is up and running.
You might want to check this out in your lab to see if the results can be duplicated, because every other suggestion I have found within this Forum did little more than cause frustration and offered no results.
Thanks for you help.
