Hero 5 Black Refurbished stabilization does not work [ New ]

Hello,

I bought Hero 5 Black Refurbished recently which I wanted to use it while riding my enduro bike in the mountaints, as most of the people.

However, no matter which mount I use - chest or helmet one, the video quality is the same as the one I get from my very old SJ4000 camera.

The video stabilization is always set to ON but it doesn't seem ot work. The image is shaking like there's an earthquake beneath me.

I went through various videos of GoPro Hero 5 on YouTube before making my choice and my videos are nothing like those ones. Now I'm starting to regret this.

Is there any chance it was previously returned for this ?

Also, is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Make sure you are on a resolution that allows  the EIS,  if you  turn on certain featuress the EIS will get disabled, example slow motion shots higher then 60FPS

When stating the Stabilization was ON, I really meant ON :)

I know how to turn it ON and OFF.

Yep   then reflash your firmware, factory rest your camera. and if it does not work then contact a gopro Rep at the  warranty level.
