Hero 5 Black Back screen not responding

My Hero 5 Black is not schowing the back screen. I had bought it a fortnight back. Just tried to install it today with memory card. Was using Sandisk Extreme Pro 64 GB. The fully charged battery was in the camera for around 10 days. While the front screen and video is recorded, the back screen is absolutely black. Also finding that the camera is getting very hot when on, but not operational. This is very depressing. Please respond with the solutions.

Done so. Got good initial response, after the RMA has been generated and the product handed over to retail outlet, no respnse both from support or from the retail. Very surprising. Thought to get a more prompt response on that. In the meantime, a case closed email has landed!!!!!
