I have a hero 4 camera. i havent used it in over a year but i tried to connect my phone to the camera's wifi so that i can use the gopro app but it wont work. i tried resetting the wifi name and password but it didnt help. I can see my cameras name on my wifi list on my phone but when i select it and enter the password it just keeps searching and never connects.

I've had a similar issue with my GoPro on an android phone and here's the solution I found.
There's two steps you need to carry out.
Turn on your GoPro, scroll through the menu's until you get to the setup menu.
Go to the "reset" option and select "reset WiFi".
This will reset the WiFi on your camera. If done successfully your camera will power off in a few moments and then power itself back on.
Open up your Android device that you are trying to pair to (if you are using an iPhone, I cannot confirm that this will help, I only know it cropped up with my Galaxy 7 running Oreo).
Open up your WiFi connection options (press and hold the WiFi symbol for a few moments to bring up the menu) and click on the "advanced" tab.
Scroll down to "manage networks" and this will bring up a history of all your network connections.
You will want to delete any connections relating to your GoPro Hero 4 as this can cause an "incorrect password" issue when connecting to the GoPro Hero 4 or setting up a new connection to the GoPro Hero 4 via your app.
After you have deleted the connections from this menu, you can then exit the advanced options, go back to the GoPro app and set up a new connection. You will need to select the pairing option from your camera and set up a new connection to the GoPro hero 4.

Feeling bored all the times is not necessary however, you can also try to download and install all cracked version applications to get more information and applications.
