I know this subject has been covered many times on here however having followed all the advice, Wifi reset, Hard reset, deleting and reinstalling the app, trying to delete previous Wifi and bluetooth connection although I cannot see any I cannot get the Hero 4 to connect to the app. I have spent hours trying to solve this watching numerous YouTube videos as well, nothing is happening and I am incredibly frustarated to the point of getting cross now.
I am beginning to think that although the wifi is on it is not actually transmitting.
FYI I am trying to connect the Hero 4 to the app on a Samsung S10 Plus
Any help or advice to solve this would be gratefully received as I have exhausted all avenues.

@clipster152, sorry to hear about the trouble. If you've already gone through the suggested troubleshooting steps listed here at Troubleshooting GoPro App Connectivity Issues and still having connection issues, see if you'll be able to connect your HERO4 camera to a different mobile device. This will help us further isolate the problem.
If the camera connects to a different mobile device, most likely the issue is stemming from your Samsung S10 Plus. There could be some sort of Wi-Fi connection settings in the device that prevents the camera from getting connected.
Otherwise, if you continue to experience the same connection problem on different supported mobile devices, the issue could be with the camera. In this case, reinstalling the firmware update of the camera can help correct any errors with the current software installation. Follow the manual update instructions specified in this article: https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/How-to-Update-GoPro-Cameras
If the issue persists after going through the suggested troubleshooting steps above, our Support team will be able to assist you with the next steps. You may reach them by phone or chat through https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs.
