Hero 3+ silver constantly dropping WiFi connection

[ New ]
Running an iPhone 7+, up to date on iOS 13.4.1, uninstalled/reinstalled GoPro app. Same issue as before. Get a pixelated and late image on the app for about 30 seconds before wifi connection is lost.

Any advice? Should I just throw it away?

Run a manual update on the camera. Please refer to https://gopro.com/en/us/update/hero3_plus

Make sure to save the UPDATE folder to the root of the SD card.

Once the update is completed, try pairing the camera again.

Let us know if this helps.

 

You may also test it with another phone and see if the same happens.

     Thanks for the reply!  Updated succesfully, same issue, IPhone displays "Wi-Fi Connection Lost.  No access to another phone, any advice?
