So I bought a brand new hero 2018 from their website in October to take it on my USA trip. It had some glitches straight away when I started using it, it started getting stuck and the only way to getting it back to work was taking the battery out and putting it back in. This happened several time throughout the day. As I was already away I suffered through it. When I got back I downloaded videos to my Mac and forgot about the problem. Now, I wanted to take it on another trip, charged the camera but after turning it on LCD at the back is not working. Neither it pairs to the app nor cannot see the camera in Wi-Fi on my phone. I tried literally everything, together with manual software update and nothing works. I can see that this is not an uncommon issue with that camera but what can I do to fix it? Is it GoPro’s fault?
