The problem,i live in indonesia and gopro 8 hero black price in indonesia not SAME IN THE WORLD,THAT STUPID INDONESIA.april 2019 i buy dust white edition for 6.5million rupiah that expensive.so if i sell my gopro maybe i get 3 or 4million rupiah and gpro8 price not same in world,in indonesia gpro8 hero black sell price 6million rupiah that amazing stupid.. currency usd 14.000 rupiah so gpro8 350 should be 4.9million rupiah not 6million rupiah

we understand what you're saying. Until things a get modernized that is the price we pay.    Be happy you have like Dan said a  incredable camera.  rather this year get a hero 8 wait till next year and keep watching the  APP for the updates but  don't hold your breath on it.  Why the Hero 4 black never got EIS etc is  its not todays technology, and this may have been ended by who, gopro they run our show.

 not the other way round.
