HERO5 Session blank status screen

Please see video here for issue with status screen. It is completely dead! Firmware has been updated manually, I cannot reset the camera or get the WiFi to work.

Having an issue with my brand new HERO5 Session. Purchased on Sunday, used for a couple hours, updated firmware (v 1.5), now on Thursday the display is dead and I can't get it reset. Manually updating the firmware tonight did not solve the problem.
