HERO SESSION 5 fully charged when connected,but shows low battery when disconnected

Its been less than 2 years since i had bought my hero session 5. I had been using it regulary,but could not use it for the last 6 months. Yesterday when i charged it, it went to 100% and when disconnected it turns off showing low battery. I tried resetting,but nothing happens. I have barely made full use of my camera. Is there anything to do about the battery. Please Respond.

Please try calling again using a different line -say landline or a different mobile phone. Chat is available only during normal hours of operation so it would be best to initiate chat during the time period. If the camera was purchased via GoPro directly, the order confirmation email would suffice. Otherwise, an alternate documentation such as a bank statement indicating the item purchased, when it it was purchased and for how much will do.

Please try to reset the camera and install new firmware by following manual update step here: https://gopro.com/help/articles/how_to/Software-Update-Instructions-for-HERO5-Cameras

 

If issue persist please contact our customer support team via phone or chat.

@graytree76514 Hai. I tried manually updating my gopro as per the instructions. The result is still the same. I have barely used it. I believe there are no service centres in India. Please help.

Just prepare your serial number and proof of purchase in case replacement is needed.

@graytree76514 i am unable to call the listed number for INDIA. The customer chat is also shown as unavailable. My cousin had gifted me the gopro on my bdy. I didnt collect the bill from him. He cant seem to locate the bill. There is and order confirmation mail. Would that be enough?
