Hey guys, I recently purchased a Karma drone with the new Hero 6. I've only recorded in 1080 @ 60FPS and everything looks awesome. I edit in Imovie and really enjoy it. However I am wanting to play around with the features this camera provides. I tried filming in 120 and as soon as the video is on my computer is plays back in slow mo. As I understand it, Imovie only does 60FPS so it would make since that anything shot in 120 would appear as slow motion. What I am trying to do, is record all my action video at 120 FPS so I have the OPTION to slow it down. Every video I have watched has people importing their 120 FPS video and it plays real time, and then they choose what they want slowed. However if I shoot in this setting, the ENTIRE clip is in slow mo in my time line. Does this mean I can't shoot in 120 unless I want whatever is recorded to be slowed?? HOW do I get around this? At this point I feel like im limited to only 60 FPS filming, which is only half of what this camera is capable of!

What is your timeline fps in you edit program? If it is 30fps for example you migh have to speed up you clips for normal speed.
All depends on the editor program. Try diffent settingd and timeline fps.
Btw, I would still only go up 60fps and increase resoultion like 2.7 or 4K. Give you good enough slomo but with better image and the posiblity to crop/zoom within the frame.
120 is pretty special for all footage and needs more light.
Sometimes less is more....

It is Imovie, so whichever video you upload into it first is the timeline speed, which is generally 60 FPS because I don't usually shoot in anything else. I notice when I import into GoPro quick they play regular speed, but when I import via photos in my macbook as soon as I view the clip it is in slow mo
