[ Edited ]

Hello,

i have a problem when to try connecting my go pro.

- GoPro Hero 4 Silver

- Samsung Galaxy S8+

okay now let me explain little bit and clear,

So this GoPro never connected into this Phone ,

In the GoPro App , no history about connected GoPro

Smart Switch  Mode is in Turn Off Mode.

Reset Wi-Fi and Reset Default, ofcourse i did that.

Until i forgot my home wi-fi.

When i'm tryin to Connect/Pair , it showin :

The camera password is incorrect.

You may have set or changed it from another device. Please enter the

password for GP123456789

But, in somecase i just read, they said the Default password is "goprohero".

and then i try that and hope it can fix my problem, but one more problem is came to me.

It said :

Your camera name must be at least 1 character. Your camera password cannot be "goprohero" can contain letters, numbers,

or only these special characters : _-

and how i know , it almost 4 years and the box is gone.

Please anybode help me to fix my problem, maybe another person have same problem with me.

and if you don't know how to solve the problem, please Up this article.

Thank You.

Re: [HELP] Hero 4 Pairing Problem

Hey @aldyi1887,

Sorry to hear that you're having issues connecting your HERO4 Silver camera to your phone. If you've forgotten the WiFi passcode, you can go to the wireless settings and reset it and it will go back to the default setup, where you can follow steps in personalizing the WiFi information of your camera again.

Hope all the best,
