So I am in the midst of making a project and when reviewing some of my footage green flares and screen tears appear, this has only recently started happening. When I initially imported the footage these things weren't there. However I have since trimmed and deleted the original clips and now green flares and screen tears are appearing on some of my footage. See attached photos for evidence. Is there any way to fix these things or is the footage screwed?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What program were you using to edit your footage? And do you have any additional codec packs installed (K-lite codec pack for example). Do any of these artifacts appear on the original footage?

I was using Movies and TV on Windows to view the videos and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit them and they both show up with these distortions when they previously didn't before I trimmed the originals and deleted them. They didn't appear on the original footage and I don't have any aditional codecs installed.
Here's another picture to see what's happening.

See if trimming via Quik for desktop will make a difference.
You may also try other applications to trim and edit the videos.
