Goprohero 2018 - need advicevto buy a 256gb card and replacement battery
[ New ]
Hi there,
I just bought a go pro hero 2018 and in need of advice to purchase a 256gb card and replacement battery
I am planning to film on 1080 60 frame a 4 hour cross country running event
Could you please advice
1) highest capacity battery available (can I buy a fusion 2640?)
2) highest capacity SD card
3) large tall tripod
Looking forward to your recommendation and thank you in advance

1) Using any battery other than GoPro can invalidate your warranty. The battery for the Fusion camera will not fit your camera. Attaching a battery pack or just swapping out your battery are the best solutions
2) Your camera is rated for Capacity up to 128GB (page 8 in manual) https://gopro.com/content/dam/help/hero-2018/HERO_UM_ENG_REVA.pdf
It's better to use multiple 64GB cards. They are more reliable than large capacity, and if something where to happen to your larger capacity card you lose everything, whereas using multiple cards only results in loss from the one card.
3) How tall?
