Gopro shoot over 11.000 pictures while recording video [ New ]

I notice a lot of pictures created by gopro hero 5 session, while I was riding motorcycle, gopro recorded a video and burst pictures during 2h of riding, there's over 11 k pictures in folder on memory card, how can avoid shooting pictures I want only video

If you long press on the shutter it goes into time lapse at 0.5 seconds. It's possible you pressed too long.

It's either video or photo  not both, so something is not right, is the video  the correct length you recorded?   do you think the voice command is  stopping thevideo, switching to phot timelapse etc....

Just find out that I actually miss some video and have lot of pictures, realy dont know how I switch from video to photo, voice comand are off and wifi also, Im just using that one big button to start and stop recording

Yeah i think that's problem because I have gloves on hands maybe didnt feel button click, thanks for help 😊 Is there option to turn off that long press shutter time lapse mode?

Unfortunately, no. It's hardwired into the camera as a standard feature.

glad you fould out you long pressed then short pressed so pay attention to the beeps what gopro could have done  gave a long beep then three to say I am in timelapse

Beeps probably aren't that helpful when riding a motorcycle.
