Gopro hero6 issue frozen screen

Hi,

i bought a Gopro6 Hero few month ago, it has less than a year and i keep having issue of frozen screen,

I made an update of my camera, i also bought a new sd card on the official gopro website but i still have this issue. Screen keeps freezing and even if i take the battery out and put it back, the problem still there.

 

Any idea how to resolve this issue ? Do I have to change my camera ?

When you say you made an update of your camera, was it a manual update?

Try formatting the card in your computer (Full, not Quick) and then download and install the manual update (even if this was already done).

Once completed, go into preferences and factory reset the camera. Once that is done, format the card in your computer.

GEt o gopro's team with your  paper work. if you feel your camera was a defect. they will tell you your next step.
