Re: Gopro Hero 4 Silver wont read any sd cards
[ New ]If you purchased through GoPro and have the receipt, you can try contacting the GoPro Support Team and see if they have some options for you. Obviously the camera is well beyond the one year warranty (unless purchased from GoPro in the Clearance/Refurbished section within the last year).
You can use the camera for a Trade Up https://shop.gopro.com/tradeup

Re: Gopro Hero 4 Silver wont read any sd cards
[ New ]1-2 year warranty
extended warranty are offered for a few plus years, gopro offers as well an extended warranty.
call gopro about the warranty and see tehir options they can offer. if you are out of warranty, they wil lwork with you on offers and options.
For downgrading google the camera I beleive the Hero 4 black and silver use the same firmware you can downgrade yes.
will a new board offer the solution, the question is, is does the new board have the proper software on so no issues are going to happen. a member questioned that his gopro mother board refuses to work a newly purchased one,
you may seek outside repair centers to fix the issue if it is fixable good luck on it
