Gopro 3.5 adapter still not working with 1.50 firmware hero 9 update [ New ]

My 3.5 adapter still not being recognised with my hero 9 after the latest 1.50 firmware update. It only works when I plug in my power bank. The audio will stop working if I unplug the charger. Please help.

Thank for the quick reply. I just installed 1.52 and still the same. The adapter will only be recognised if I plug in a charger. Would this be an adapter issue or the hero 9 itself?

I just received an email from the support team that they havnt heard from me. That they will consider my case closed if they dont hear from me in five days.
I did what they asked for to verify my address and send a picture of my hero 9’s serial number via link they provided. I even reached out to gopro support again to follow it up and I’ve been told that it usually takes 3 days to get the email ‘return’ instruction. He even said he will follow it up for me.
How do I advise the team responsible that I want to go ahead with the hero 9 replacement?
