GoPro4 Silver Wifi

So, like many others my wifi of the camera won't work properly. My camera worked just fine at the time i stored it and didn't use for a while. Two days ago i powered it up again and tried to connect with my wifi remote without any success. There was no blue light showing up. Also setting up a connection with an iPhone6 didnt work. There is also no PIN showing up, during pairing mode. There was no chance that the camera could have been damaged in that period like falling off the table or sth like that. Everything else works fine.

Here are the things i already did:

reset wifi connection (deleted connection in capture app, and from the bluetooth list of the iphone)
reset camera

Delete Card
updating firmware to 5.0 with Quick --> failed
updating firmare manually --> successfully

 

Evene after updating the camera there was no improvement, so i deleted the card again and reset the camera. The  goPro still wont show a connecting PIN or a blue flashing light  for wifi. I did the manual updating again just to be sure.

 

I have no clue what i can do in addition to fix it. Is there any method to check if everything is functioning?

If you are still having issues after that I would recommend reaching out to support directly for further troubleshooting: https://goo.gl/xRcX7m. Also make sure you are using a recommended SD Card from this list: https://goo.gl/3xjV1Z. Hopefully that will get you back up and running!

Hi,

 

first of all thanks for your quick replay. i read that article and already tried those steps. The problem already starts at that point i have to activate the wifi option. There is no blue light.  I also checked the  SD-card (it's a SDSQXNE-064G-GN6AA)

My next step was to contact the live chat right now (7th june 12:00am) but i got stuck with the message "hang on while we connect yout to an agent" for around 15min even there was no one in line in front of me.
