GoPro not connecting to app properly

The GoPro app recognizes the go pro and says "connected". Then it tries to load media and after loading says "we had trouble connecting with your GoPro". My connection is on and I put 2.4ghz. Looks like it connects.to the GoPro but then doesn't pair properly or connect enough to load media.
I've tried resetting and forgetting wifi/Bluetooth, etc. Reset, restart. Even manually updated the GoPro.

Same here - word for word. I’m trying to scan and search through the message boards. Using iPhone iOS 13.3 btw.
