Following issues and ect will be about GoPro 7 black But before that...
I've been using gopro since it released GoPro hero 2. Since that I've used every new release (often best of the line, like ''blacks'' are right now). Finally GoPro hero 5 was released so I bought it. It was first gopro I've owned (others were borrowed for extended periods).
Never had issues with hero 2, had few instances when GoPro hero 3 overheated when filming during summer, but no long term damage or anything was done to it. After short break and restart it worked normal. Then I got my hands on GoPro hero 5 black, which sometimes froze, had random overheatings and SD card errors. There were some issues with it but it was not unbearable as it was rare.

BUT OH BOY... I've preordered and bought GoPro 7 black as it looked amazing in specs especialy that stabilization. Seemed all fine until I got it. Soo I took it from the box. Booted it and it froze on ''intro/tutorial or however you call it when you first turn it on''. As I've been familiar with freezes on black 5 I just pulled the battery and reinserted it - problem solved. Okay, next - updated the firmware. Not on first try though, first update failed without explanation. Okay.. reformated. Updated ''again'' - everything is fine. So I've been using it casualy since its release never droped it on hard surface but quite often I get few problems with it. They have been constant since first week of use until now.
First problem would be lcd freezing with bright green dots all over the place (so view in camera freezing and has a bunch of green dots around the screen, something similar to that of GPU failure on PC).
Second problem not shutting down. Sometimes when I try to shut down go pro it shutdows but still shows live view in LCD (no other function works).
Third problem happened few days ago. Camera is off but all leds are lit up as if it was charging. Pulled battery - fixed. But happened few more times after.
So I think I've been patient but others around me seem to not have those issues with either 5 or 7. So I am here to ask you if this seems normal to you? I ask you here beacause I'm thinking about sending it to warranty and want to hear what you think and your experiences of using GoPro particulary black 7.
If not these issues I'm having GoPro 7 it would be a solid action camera. Stabilization is amazing in good lighting and hyperlapse (timewarp) is a very nice feature. Very useful camera and amazing for everyday use when I can't use a6000, but for now it is really unreliable.
Oh just remembered.. few days ago it froze while filming it happened once on 7 seconds and other time on 10s.

SD card: Sandisk Extreme 64gb (was bundled with GoPro)
No videos or photos for now, but if I'm able to catch those problems I'll post it here for ''viewing experience'' ;))
