GoPro hero 7 black update failure

I tried updating the new firmware update on the hero 7 black with 2 different memory card 1st with a Samsung Evo Plus 128 GB and the other SanDisk Extreme Pro 128 GB and it doesn't get updated. I tried all possible ways to update from the app till the manual upadte and also the quick app desktop update . But the update just doesn't happen. Please help.

Is htis hte way you did it files to a folder to your driver to the camer turned on

Yeah I had sent is as the same way you sent a picture of it in an update folder.

So you did all that and failed?    can you take a photo where you put the update folder in or you need for us to show that to you to?

Please try to reformat your SD card first @superstoke87454,

 

After that copy the UPDATE folder on the root of your SD card. 

 

Make sure that you don't have a multiple filename i.e UPDATE(2)

i tried formatting it and then putting the update in the  sd card.  and im not putting the  copy of the update. i only downladed it once an that's the  only one ki put in the folder .

I find doing on your phone or tablet the best way.. Just do it on a wifi connection not data,,,
