Re: GoPro hero 7 black FW 1.61 post all your concerns issues and all in here

@danielr15 "How do you know this?"

Simple:

We have 2019 +

7generation of this camera +

the chepest Chinesse sports cameras got it +

Hero 6 got it +

the same chip like GP6 (if I am not wrong) +

it is just indicator which read level of somthing from sensors +

graphic layer = level 0 (paint wil be enough good to make it)

= KNOW HOW :)

Thats why I think it easy to do. Nobody can convince me that it's difficult

Now its like driving car without dashboard - you can do it  but you do not feel sure and it is far not professional.

1 what was your battery level of hte camera at the start, and at the end?

2 were you on  on airplane mode  and wifi calling off

3 was the camera and the phone within reach?

4 were you  on 5.0 or 2.4ghz?

If you have  a photo or video sampl of your camera Please do post up.

Is it possible to downgrade to v1.51 in case I don't like the newest firmware version? If so, where can I download v1.51?

Yes  if you saved your  softwre it is possible. it is in the best interest to be up to date then outdated.

Another good news:

I just finish my test of quality at dusk and I am very GLAD, quality of video is OUTSTANDING. No more blurry, no more panning issue. PERFECT GOPRO - Keep going.Smiley Very Happy

Re: GoPro hero 7 black FW 1.61 post all your concerns issues and all in here

I tryed too, it basically changing the stabilization option itself during recording.

I just did a test from outside at dusk to inside my home

Test settings:

4k 25fps

stabilization auto

protune

gopro color

shutter auto

iso min 100 max 200

At somepoint I had no stabilization at all anymore (It changed from hypersmooth to regular stabilization and then to no stabilization at all when the light was too low).

And yes, for that reason the footage was ok without any blurry or pixelate images.

Personally, I think it's better this way, I prefer a shaky but clean footage compare to a blurry pixelate unusable footage.

It would be nice to have the possible to choose between the stabilization option tho.
