Mine happened on my firt day of vacation. Its so annoying and disappointing. I think they should send everybody a new one complete with the accessories. Instead of sending a refurbished one. And its their fault in the first place. And they keep on saying water damage is not covered in warranty. We effin bought this camera because its waterproof! Its my first go pro and been replaced for the 3rd time and soon to be 4th. 1st one having non stop burst shoot. 2nd one is the same and having problems with battery door. Then this. Water leaked inside. It sucks! They cant even replace the battery due to international shipping. Im asking for other item to compensate the battery and they said no. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Bummers, I just got my 3rd one. Afraid to take under water because 1st one leaked after 8 months of peridic surf sessions. 2nd wasn't usable because battery door didn't completely close. Now with the 3rd one I'm not chancing it and will jus use it as a splash proof unit. I have a H4 silver that works great for surfing and has the extra back battery for extended go outs. It's a solid unit. Maybe the H6s will resolve some of the issues we've all been having?

Mine has been in for about the same time...i contacted them and they said it takes 10-15 business days to review and ship out the replacement. So depending on your location and shipping time added onto 10-15 business days.
