I'd like to use my gopro on my snowmobile but due to the extreme cold the battery won't last more than five minutes.
I wonder if there is a heated housing so I can plug in the usb port of my sled.
Or what If I use it plug in the usb port would the battery last longer? On the other hand I'd heve to use the housing with the hole on the side for the cable, which would allow for the snow to go in.
Does anyone have any ideas?.

they make cases like Digipower at Bestbuy
Yes we can keep the camera on do a recording at first before going then keep on that will be the amount of heat needed to run at the Cold weather time. what I personally do is keep my camera in my Pocket when I leave my house in todays weather at 20 degress , wind chill single digits. and the camera works, but if I keep it not on and outside and the battery will be at 5%. not ssaying the accessory will work that way I am saying it is a lot better that was mentioned to duct tape water is an issue and these ports are Not waterproof or resisitant.
