GoPro footage saving error

So I own a GoPro hero5 black since last December, it worked fine till yesterday. But yesterday, I was filming outdoors, in temperatures going up to 30 degrees Celsius, and I filmed for up to 20 Minutes periods. The problem came when I stoped the recording, the GoPro's screen indicated that the GoPro was "saving" and it lasted till I pulled the battery out as no buttons or the touch screen worked. So at one point, I decided to wait, but it kept saying "saving", until the battery died. I also tried to put it in a fridge to cool it of, to see if it would stop displaying the saving message. And as I tried to retrieve my footage, there was only partial sections of each footage, lasting less than a minute.
So is the problem related to the temperature, the Sd card or the camera.

Ps: my SD card is a 32 GB San disk ultra micro SD CARD , rated C10

Re: GoPro footage saving error

@fasthero61612 - Has anything changed recently with your camera? For example, is this a new SD card you're using, or is it the same SD card you've used successfully in the past?

I'm asking about the card since slow "Saving" times is an indication that there's likely an issue with the SD card. If it's a card you've used successfully in the past, I would suggest taking it out and reinstalling it (could be a bad physical connection). If that doesn't resolve it, try reformatting the card. Note that this will erase any content already on the card. Instructions on how to reformat the card can be found here: https://gopro.com/help/articles/How_To/Formatting-an-SD-Card-With-HERO5-Black

Finally, it would be a good idea to double-check that your SD card is compatible with your camera. We have the specific card models that we know to be compatible listed here: https://gopro.com/help/articles/Block/microSD-Card-Considerations

Thanks,
Jeff
