GoPro files imported as 1920x16

I took my Hero 4 session on a hunting trip and come home with about half of the videos working.  I had two diferent SD cards so I'm guess that was the problem and the card is messed up.  I didn't realize that some files weren't working till after I had uploaded all files.  They all show up as .mp4 but close to half are 1920x16 and only play audio.  Before I left I updated the camera and I thought I formated both cards.  Any thoughts?

Sorry about that @aktndr.

This is a bit odd that this happened?

May I ask what OS your on? macOS or Windows OS?

This can also help. Windows seems to have some issues with this.

Also if your not up to date on Mac you'll run into issues like this also.

Re: GoPro files imported as 1920x16

Well since it's up to date it should be fine.

That might be the issue since you used a 128gb the Session

won't support this for some reason, but the HERO4/5 will

support the 128gb sd card. I would recommend a SanDisk or Lexur.

Most unknown name's will crash and lose your files.

That's kinda of what I'm expecting now. After editing the footage I had bunch or little issues to cut. Keep getting the video rendering error. Time to get a better card. Is a name brand 128 ok?

Re: GoPro files imported as 1920x16

Yeah that might be the issue.

I would get a SanDisk 128 or Lexur 128.

I don't have issues with those, nor the GoPro Media Team.

I'll have links for you. It's up to you on waht you want. But the best would be Luxur.
