GoPro can't turn on with batteries inserted

Hi, my GoPro was working fine this morning but after I had arrived back home on my holiday (with several water activities like Canyoning, Waterparks and whitewater rafting) I decided to wipe down all the components of my GoPro and because I noticed some white stuff in the battery contacts of 2 of my GoPro batteries, I had run them through some water and dried them immediately - subsequently using some tissue paper and a toothpick to try and get between the contacts to clean and dry them out.

After all these steps, initially the GoPro could still be turned on (red light and all) but there was 1 battery that was a bit funky, it started turning on and then turning off and then turning on again on its own. I then decided to put it outside to dry instead for a few hours and then tried again but now it can't work. I have a total of 3 batteries and now none of them are working (even though there was initally one working one that was not run under water).

Is there a way to deduce if it is the battery contact on the batteries or the camera is the issue? I have tried all the other techniques of hard reset, mode button reset, taking out SD card etc. and none of them are working out for me.

Would appreciate a response ASAP because customer service is not available for me until Monday and I kind of need to use my GoPro by Monday.
