GoPro Water Leakage

[ New ]
Recently started using my brand new Gopro Hero 7 Black and used it underwater for about 3-6ft. After 10 minutes of being submerged in the water the **bleep** thing shuts off. This "waterproof" $400 camera had water leakage which pretty much fried the thing, screen wont turn on and the red light just glitches out. Flaps were properly shut, everything was in place and it dies.. Ruined my vacation and can't take any more photos under water. Really dissappointed in this faulty product. Will GoPro be able to send a replacement or repair my current camera?

Hi @junsei9

So long as all camera doors are closed, the HERO7 Black is waterproof down to 10m (33ft) without a housing.
While water damage is usually not covered by the warranty, let our Support Team take a look at what happened.
You may reach out to them by phone or chat. https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs

Thanks!
Ej
