GoPro Silver 3+ Reboots/cycles when turned on

I have a GoPro Hero 3+ Silver that constantly reboots/cycles every time I switch it on. This YouTube video of someone else's camera shows it best.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QP-SOXQsLks   The samething will happen with the SD card in the camera.  The camera has not been dropped and is always used in the waterproof case.  I updated the firmware using a newly formatted SanDisk Pixtor 32GB card (a card used in my other GoPro cameras) to version 3.02.  It didn't go smoothly, I had to do it a number of times, but said it came back as completed.  I have totally discharged the battery in the camera and recharged with a wall charger while in the camera.  I have done hard resets.  I have been able to load the 2.0 firmware back in.  The same rebooting happens at the 2.0 version.  I have updated the firmware again to 3.02 and have the same problem.  I wonder if part of the firmware set that is not updated during the update 3.02 has been corrupted?  Is there any way to get all the files and not just the update ones?  I have read many posts of people with the same problem but not seen a solution to this problem. The camera is of course out of warranty so I am looking for help.  Thanks

My 1 week old GO pro hero3+ black edition keeps on freezing and restarting itself..
