GoPro Session5 turns itself Off..?

Has any other Hero Session5 users experienced their Session turning itself off? I carry my Session located in the center of the handle bars, using the Pro Handlebar Mount, on Flat Track motorcycles, a YZ250F Yamaha and a CRF 450R Honda. It seems to turn itself off only, when being carried on the 450; I wondered it if it could be a vibration issue causing it to shut itself Off. I don't know. .. I format the SD card every time after I have off loaded and backed up the recordings on the SD card.

Hello @mikeyg61957,
Does the camera turn off while recording, or only when idle? When idle, the camera turns off by itself after a period of time. The camera only remains in standby mode after capturing video or photos when connected to the GoPro App or the remote control. Hope to hear back from you.
Thanks,
Marius

My Hero4 Session, (purchased from GoPro, the camera and the SanDisk Extreme 64gb SD card, July of 2017), Turns Off on its own during recording. .. It is mounted using the Pro Handlebar mount to the handle bars of Oval Track racing motorcycles; I turn the Hero4 Session ON just, before an event, (no longer run times than approximately, 8-12 minutes, possibly, and 4-8 times during a Complete event, so, an Hour and a Half total, maybe, and this would be a Rare Maximum full, run time), I will notice the Red Light and the Display, and then, concentrate on racing; I look at the camera, after the end of the event, as soon as I can devote my attention to it, and the Light is Off; Camera is Off. I 'offload' my videos to a computer, and I can visually, see the camera turned off on its own; plus the fact the Light was Out and the Camera was OFF at the end of the event, I did not have to Push the Button to Turn it Off. . . . I just, now, found this ... https://community.gopro.com/t5/Cameras/GoPro-Session-battery-empty-won-t-charge/td-p/33269 ... similar situation; I had given it thought, but not tried it . . . a Different USB Cable other than the one that came with the camera ... could the Lights be going out during Charging, indicating Fully, Charged, and the Display indicating Fully, Charged after being unplugged, and the Menu Button being pressed, and seeing the Battery Indicator showing Fully, Charged, but actualy, it is not Fully, Charged? ... Experimenting with it today, in the house, the Hero4 Session seems to really, draw from the battery while recording, watching the Battery Indicator, then, getting Battery Low, and Battery Empty after only, approximately, 10 minutes of recording; [Using 1080 | 30fps | M]. When not recording, camera off, Menu Button, Battery Indicator has shown 7/8 to 3/4 full when Battery Low has displayed and Camera Shut Off; odd, but it seems that this different cable may be the solution; it has been charging as I type and is continuing .... I have my fingers crossed.

Well, using a different USB cable did seem to keep the Red light On / Charging for a longer period of time; it did go off what seem to me to be too, early, I unplugged it and immediately, plugged it back in and it seemed to keep charging and when the Red Light went off this time, I checked with the App and it was at 100% (It sure, seems the camera's Battery Icon / Indicator and messages do not synch with the App's information) ... Here is some text / documentation of test that I ran last night and this morning . . . .
9/17/2018, 14 videos, mounted in Standard Frame on 'Clip On' fixture sittin on end table.

Plugged in to 5v / 1.0A charger, approx. 30 mins., Red Light went off, App = 40%; unplugged it and immediately, plugged it back in and it seemed to keep charging and when the Red Light went off this time, I checked with the App and it was at 100%
