GoPro Max screen not working [ New ]

I took my GoPro Max on a hike and the first thing was the screen was unresponsive, then shortly after that the screen when white and then it went black, I can see that the back light is still working, but nothing from the screen. The camera it self still works and I can connect to it with my phone, but only the screen isn't working. I've only had it for two weeks and I haven't dropped it, I did use it in the water the day before, but it worked fine all day, it doesn't appear to have any water in it. Is this possibly a factory defect?

Hello @lithedive01531. Reinstalling the firmware update of the camera can also help correct any errors with the current software installation. Using an SD card adapter, connect your microSD card to your computer and follow the Manual Update instructions specified in this article: https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/How-to-Update-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394229 

 
Additionally, performing a factory reset in the camera may help.

So I tried that and it is still unresponsive, is there any sort of warranty on these?
