Took my Max out to try and record a video today, around 2min into the recording it stopped recording video but carried on recording audio. Using the recommended memory card.
I am trying to be patient with GoPro, but unless they can fix this camera I will be needing a refund.

Please run a manual software update. https://gopro.com/en/us/update
Once the update is completed, reset the camera to its factory settings. https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/Reset-Camera-Settings/ta-p/388279
Do a test recording and see if it made a difference.
