GoPro Max blurry under water
[ New ]I bought the Max a couple months ago and when I go underwater, the picture comes out blurry. I was excited to take a photo of a tiger shark but it didn't come out very clear. Out of the water, it looks great. What should I do?

Re: GoPro Max blurry under water
[ New ]Your GoPro Max may be water proof (which means you can use it around water) but it is not an underwater camera. Due to physics, the curvature of the lens combined with the defractive effects of water will result in blurry pictures if used underwater.
The only way to use a curved lensed camera underwater is to introduce an air gap. So you would have to use an underwater dome for filming with your GoPro Max.
