GoPro Max - It's like you saw the finish line and then stopped right before reaching it.
[ New ]I bought the GoPro Max, and was really excited. It seems like all the features I was excited about are more like "almost" features.
Per example - Recording 360 video works good, but it does not playback when trying to edit. All it shows is a black screen. Ok, then I guess I will just upload the entire video with out editing. Nope! can't do that either I get this message instead:
Upload limit is 90s??? what does that even mean??? I have uploaded HUGE files to YouTube before without an issue before. I have a video on my channel that is 10hours long at 1080/60fps so I know that it is not YouTube's issue.
Also... in order to Livestream I HAVE to be in Wifi?!?!? Kinda defeats the whole purpose of being able to livestream on the go.
So, basically, it looks like I am going to have to return this item. And that's unfortunate, becuase I was really looking forward to it.
Hopefully I am doing something wrong, and someone might be able to help me to know what I am doing wrong.

Re: GoPro Max - It's like you saw the finish line and then stopped right before reaching it.
[ New ]Hi @jyestur
You can share your 360 videos from the GoPro app directly, but different social platforms will have different length limitations for your videos.
See https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/360-Media-Support-in-the-GoPro-App/ta-p/408043 for reference.
Thanks!

[ New ]How else is the media going to be transmitted? Can you not create a hotspot with your phone?

[ New ]However, it will work better if the phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network (instead of using cellular data), which BTW is why it's recommended, and then the camera can piggyback on that through the Blutooth connection.
