GoPro Hero7 Trade Up Program Question

I had the teadeup in my cart and went to check out and my cart had been updated with the tradeup removed. Super disappointed.

GoPro never said it was forever, they should have mentioned Limited time offer.  Call gopro  and talk to a rep they may honar your request, you have options.

Yep. I tried that. They told me that was too bad. Excellent customer service. Guess I will be buying Garmin instead. Pretty frustrating the program lasted about a week.

Take a deep breath. It is generally not a good idea to purchase an inferior product (Garmin) just because you were miffed. GoPro did say on their web site at the time of the offer that they reserve the right to terminate the offer at any time without notice.  It is frutsrating to have missed it.

I am not sure I would say the Garmin is inferior. I am trying to get a camera for scuba diving. The GoPro is waterproof to 10M and the Garmin is waterproof to 50M. To get the same coverage for GoPro, I have to buy the Super Suit. Which puts the GoPro $50 more for the same quality.

The irritating part is the offer was valid for like a week??? I had the camera in my cart ready to buy. I was trying to find the receipt for my trade-in to make sure I could qualify. When I found it, the offer is no longer valid.

Yes, it is very irritating, but other than the need for the extra case for extra deoth, the Garmin has worse specs in video by a lot: no stabilization for 4K, no 4K 60P, no 1080 240p, etc. etc, And much lower *effective* bitrates when you take into account that GoPro uses HEVC, and even if you do not. The Garmin is old technology, they need to step up to equal the GoPro 7 in video quality and capability.

Had in my cart because I was on a business trip and was waiting to get home today and gone. No warning or expiration date. What the heck. Ive got 4 gopro 6 and I really wanted to use this offer. Go pro help us please.
