I still find it so weird that the Hero 6 has vanished off the website but Hero 5 is currently top of the pile. Is this a mistake or a way of brushing the Hero 6 under the carpet as if it never happened?

It is already confirmed that it will use the same battery, and the fact that the form factor and hardware is mostly the same as the Hero 6 it should support the karma drone and the karma grip.

hmm, well it looks like Karma grips been removed from the shop as well. The whole "stabilization" drop down menu's been removed

I have read that the Hero 7 Black may not have Linear at 4k still due to sensor size restrictions.

Keep in mind that your 2.7k Linear mode is just 4k cropped, so where will the additional pixels come from to make 4k Linear?

It does make you wonder what it actually has better than the Hero 6, other than slightly better stabilisation and random software additions?
