I was traveling from Pakistan to Los Angeles. And over Greenland I captured some videos, even captured some videos of take offs and landings. Somehow there were no GPS signals to catch the locations or the speed on a GoPro, my iPhone 6s however did catch locations from time to time.
What could the issue be ? Has anyone else experienced something like this ?

Hello @umayrm71. On those instances when GPS information was supposed to be recorded, do you recall getting the GPS indicator on your camera? How are you trying to view the GPS information on your videos? We see that you are using a HERO7 Black camera and there is currently an issue with displaying GPS gauges in Quik for desktop. If you haven't tried it, see if you can display GPS information using GoPro App and Quik fro mobile. There are instructions in the links below to guide you:
Let us know what you find out. Thanks!

@PS on a Plane at take off you can not just whip the camera out and go. you have to set up the camera and that can take over five minutes just to lock,, Once up it can then lock on faster due to the camera having gps still enabled while on standby. In order to see the gps locking you can not see it on the main livefeed screen but the dashboard where Prefrence and other controls,. This is one reason why Gopro needs to have certain features shown,
Or should we say look at the Hero 6 that is correctly shown.
You will need to offer us more detail on what you did. you can load other software to get the gps seen but only if it was recording gps, GoPro said here as well told us that Guages on windows platform is being wored on Since October of 2018 its April 2019, I now just take my hero 6 if I ever want guages to work on my devices.
