GoPro Hero 7 Black Return - PayPal Refund

Hi all,

Sorry if this is not in the right place but I am just sharing my apalling experience with GoPro customer support and my efforts in trying to get a refund back through PayPal.


I am based in the UK and I sent back a GoPro Hero 7 Black, which was delivered to the Netherlands on the 15th of March. 2 weeks after I was in touch with customer services to ask what was happening with the refund, they told me to wait 15-30 days if paying through PayPal.


It is now the beginning of May, still with no refund, and I keep getting told by customer services to get in touch with PayPal to get some clue as to what is happening. What are PayPal going to do? Act as GoPros customer service?!? What a ridiculous suggestion.


All I can say is, what an appalling customer service!! Just getting fobbed off each and every time I am in touch with them and I am getting rather annoyed at this now!


Anyone else had such a shocking, horrible experience?

Sounds like GoPro released the funds and PayPal hasn't moved it to your account. Did you try calling PayPal to find out what is going on? Personally, I hate PayPal and have never had a very good experience with them. Always getting the run around and misinformation. Considering how they have been sued and lost so many court cases, I'm surprised PayPal is still in business.

pP has been good for me. GoPro If they can not resolve your problem on the second call 3 days later. Press them for a supervisor and see how that goes
