Re: GoPro Hero 6 display and touch screen not responsive
[ New ]I would like to provide some suggestions for your camera use. I understand that you may not use the camera everyday. As such, it would be best to do a number of check before you use or bring the camera to travel or an activity especially when the camera has been stagnant for quite sometime.
Please consider the following:
1. Allow a number of days before the actual of use/travel to check the camera.
2. Make sure to check the SD Card if there are any files on it and back it up.
3. After backing up; you would want to MANUALLY UPDATE your camera's software. It may happen that your camera has the latest software; however, flashing or reloading the camera's software can resolve a lot of issues . You can find the instructions in this link: https://gopro.com/update
4. After successfully updating the camera; it is best to format the SD Card in the camera as well as reset the camera itself to its default. This allows the camera and the SD Card to work seamlessly.
5. Last thing that you would want to consider is the water-proof capability of the camera (if you intend to use it in the water in your travel).
I hope these help you in your future travel.
Thanks,
V.

Hi @spirydawn53587,
Please try to reset the camera first.
Remove the SD card and put it back in.
Thanks,

Hi @spirydawn53587,
Looks like you have to try to install a new firmware update manually.
You can do that after your vacation so that you won't experience that again on your next trip.
