I've just bought a GoPro Hero 6 and today I was tested it when I`'ve noticed that when I select the Superview mode in any Pixels or FPS mode, when I start to record with the camera, the camera have a malfunction, blocked it and haven't any response. I have to remove the battery to recover the camera again.
The microSD card is a Sandisk Extreme SDHX 32 Gb and the battery is the original GoPro.
The firmware is v1.51
What can I do?
How can I repair this big issue?

could be the card....
is your card a V30 rated card?
Card Name and Manufacturer Part Number HERO6 Black HERO4 (Black & Silver)/HERO5 Black Session Cameras HERO3+ / HERO3: Black HERO+ LCD / HERO+ HERO
|SanDisk Extreme/Extreme Plus/Extreme Pro UHS Video Speed Class 30 (V30) - ≥32GB||Y||Y||Y||Y||Y||Y|
SuperView adds an amount of data rate.
that 3Mbps could make a difference if the card is already as his write limit.
try with another high-speed card.
please let us know your findings,,,

I've tried with 2 cards and had the same issues. The card is a Sandisk Extreme 32Gb V30.
I was this morning (in Spain) live chating with a GoPro Support agent and testing differents modes, configs and cards.
Finally, he though that could be a camera failure and we did a warranty return to change the broken camera for a usefull one.
Thanks for the help.

after receive the new camera...think twice if you do the upgrade to v01.51....or expect the new firmware hopefully this month....
many issues are generated by this version, v01.51

The first thing I'll do, after recieve the camera, will be test all modes with the original firmware version. If the camera works well, I'll think about upgrade to a new firmware versions until people test new versions.

Guys at GoPro, it is time to do something with the camera freezing in superview bug, that has been there for 2 months at least
