Batteries will not completely charge and for some reason, flashing red lights are appearing when charging? I wondered if it might be a short in the cord, so I tried multiple USB C cords and still the same results. I tried also different wall outlet to USB adapters to see if that might be affecting the charge, and again same result. The more I work the more I'm coming to the conclusion that it's a defect in the camera that I received. I'm looking for 2nd opinions and advice. Please help. Humbly.
Going to try to provide as much information as possible:
- updated to 1.60
- San Disk Extreme UHS V30 as micro SD card
- charging without SD card inserted
- have used multple cords and USB adapters to try to narrow down potential problems
- have 3 official GoPro batteries and they all only charge to around 67% using the camera
See the video and if you have any more questions, let me know. I'm also looking for a few good suggestions on what I should do. Thanks and I appreciate any and all advice.

You didn't mention what charger you are using. Buy a Supercharger (International Dual-Port Charger) and Dual Battery Charger + Battery (HERO6 Black/HERO5 Black). See if that works. This combination will charge your batteries in about two hours.

I think I just found the problem
Apple Wall Charger makes the HERO 6 charging light blink a while than off than blink again.
This Generic Wall Charger from Best Buy or Walmart has no problem while charging the light remain RED stady and my battery is 100% full of charge.

Thats weird, I have exactly the same Apple charger and my H6 doesn't blink at all with it....
But here in France we are in 220v. I don't know if it changes anyrhing. ..

UPDATE ON THIS ISSUE
Guys, I found out is was simply an issue with the camera and it's charging capabilities. I switched up everything possible and it never changed as long as I was using the camera to charge.
Ended up going out and buying a 3rd party charging station/dock, took the SAME BATTERIES that I could only get to charge up to 67% using the camera and NOW ALL BATTERIES charge up to 100% .
New 3rd party charger unit came with 3 charging docks and 2 3rd party batteries.
So for around $25.00 I now have 366% more battery life.
so if you're having issues charging the batteries using the camera, or the charging light is flashing etc and you can't get that full charge, consider buying either a GoPro or a 3rd party charging dock. Should solve your problems.
